Identifying potential Grant Funding can have enormous benefits for the children including reduced tuition, better equipment, new learning experiences, specialized support staff, and more. Research potential grants for the school. Much of this can be done online in your spare time after a discussion and training with one of our staff members.  

We are looking for volunteers to help with our education workshops and other administrative tasks.

Help prepare free meals for those in need on Tuesdays. No experience needed. Kitchen volunteers work from 11am-3pm.

We are looking for delivery drivers. No experience needed. Availability on Tuesdays is a must– drivers deliver for an hour or two in the afternoon.

Our volunteers assist us with beach clean ups, water quality monitoring testing and by serving as ambassadors at our kiosk on MacMillan Wharf (seasonally) and at our Spinnaker Exhibit, located in our Hiebert Marine Lab.

Do you have a love for reading? Volunteers are the core of the Audible Local Ledger. Without our volunteers, we could not possibly continue to provide our free radio reading service to individuals who are blind, visually impaired, and print disabled.
