Camp volunteers help us carry out our mission on a daily basis but helping with much of the critical background work: help with food service/prep, facilities support, and more. Camp volunteers commit to a minimum of a 2-hour weekly shift.

Cooks are responsible for making breakfast and dinner daily. They are also responsible for shopping for and ordering food.

We are always looking for volunteers in the medical field. From our nurses to our doctors, each one of them volunteers there time to contribute to the Jabberwocky community. We provide onsite housing, food, and a travel stipend.

During the morning, between breakfast and lunch, campers participate in classes in a range of different areas. An activities counselor is someone who facilitates classes during this morning time, in an area of their expertise.

We work all year round and need help with big and small outdoor clean up project. We do trail clearing and cutting, and general maintenance projects. Some tasks around home are difficult to do by oneself or as one ages. Help with changing lightbulbs, installing a storm window or screen, or watering flowers when it is very dry are the kind of services that help.
