Cape Cod Village Center for Developmental Disabilities is a community center located in a small village in Orleans.  The village is made up of 4 homes whose residents are adults who have severe autism. We are looking for volunteers to assist in running programs from arts and crafts. music, dance and exercise.

Created and offered by Sustainable CAPE through our Farmers’ Market Coalition, the position prioritizes Nauset Regional High School students but is open to others. Cape Cod Museum of Natural History volunteers are as precious as our unique vistas. The committed team that makes our museum go consists of teenagers, business professionals, teachers, photographers, scientists, homemakers, artists, students, the newly retired and the longer retired. Each brings their own special contribution to our vibrant programs, exhibits and walks.

We are so very grateful for everyone that gives of themselves to help fulfill our mission. Our philosophy and hope is for people to bring their talents and skills to Yoga Neighborhood, not only to strengthen our organization, but to create a caring community.

We organize two food drives a year –one in August and the other in November. We are always looking for volunteers to help collect and transport food donations.

We also need help Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to noon, with sorting goods, stocking shelves, cleaning inventory and packing grocery bags before distribution days as well as food pick-up at local vendors.

We distribute food to clients 11 times a month–Tuesdays and Thursdays, weekly, plus the second and fourth Friday of the month as well as the third Saturday of the month.
