Do you have a love for reading? Volunteers are the core of the Audible Local Ledger. Without our volunteers, we could not possibly continue to provide our free radio reading service to individuals who are blind, visually impaired, and print disabled.

Cape Cod Village Center for Developmental Disabilities is a community center located in a small village in Orleans.  The village is made up of 4 homes whose residents are adults who have severe autism. We are looking for volunteers to assist in running programs from arts and crafts. music, dance and exercise.

We are looking for a garden club or a couple of patrons with a green thumb to help us keep our outdoor flowers happy.

The museum values part-time volunteers during our busy summer and fall months. Working in the museum gift shop, assisting with admissions and membership sales, and staffing special programs would be a few of the many areas available to participate.

This opportunity will allow you to work in the gardens doing various duties, including weeding, mulching, fertilizing, pruning, propagation, and plant documentation. As a Horticulture Volunteer, you will help Heritage maintain our beautiful public gardens enjoyed by all who visit.
