The children will benefit from exposure to different cultural beliefs and practices.Meet with our Lead Guide, Ed Stanford, to discuss how you might share aspects of your culture with the children in a developmentally appropriate way. You might share about a holiday (Ramadan, Chinese New Year, Passover, Easter, Christmas, Diwali, Eid Al Adha, Yom Kippur, Kwanza, Hanukkah, etc...) and/or food from your culture and/or games, etc...We can tailor the experience to your interests and comfort level, but generally we advise small group activities for 3-4 children at a time. What happens when a group of retailers, from across a region, collaborate to lift each other up after the economic fallout of COVID-19? A lift up local initiative is born. South Coast Almanac is collaborating with a dozen of our region's small businesses who are impacted by COVID-19 and creating surprise boxes filled with items from their establishments. Think of these as speciality grab bags for grown-ups (but in a box!)--a curated and themed assortment to bring joy to each recipient and financial support to our small businesses after a rough spring.

A special thank you to First Citizens' Federal Credit Union for the assist. And without further ado, an introduction to our retailers:
