Our mission

Friends of Cape Wildlife (FCW) advocates for the compassionate care, advocacy, education, and rehabilitation to birds, mammals and reptiles on Cape Cod that are in distress.
Opportunities

Volunteering

Volunteers are a critical component in order to achieve our mission of supporting and caring for wildlife in need , teaching others about wildlife, wildlife issues, and encouraging humane stewardship of wildlife. Volunteers all come from unique backgrounds and bring with them specific skill sets.

We have opportunities available such as: Hotline operator, Grant writing, Administrative, Event planning, Donor database management, Newsletter design, Social media posts, Donation box placement and monitoring, Writing articles, Auction donation procurement, Wildlife Rescue, Wildlife Transport, Wildlife Care, Community outreach and education, and Legislation.

About us

We operate a wildlife hotline, seek to support rehabilitators, and offer education to the general public by providing non-lethal solutions when addressing conflicts between people and wildlife encouraging humane coexistence with our wild neighbors in an ever-diminishing environment.
