The mission of Duffy Health Center is to provide comprehensive, integrated health care and support services to persons who are experiencing homelessness or are at risk of homelessness on Cape Cod, and to improve the quality of life for vulnerable populations through community collaborations, leadership, and advocacy.
We are in search of volunteers who can act as Duffy representatives in the waiting room and a liaison between patients and staff. This person helps keep patients calm and lightens the load of our front desk staff by providing direction, insight, and other helpful information to patients. Training is provided. We are looking for an ongoing commitment of one or two times per week for this important role as part of the Duffy community!

On any given night, over 300 people experience homelessness on Cape Cod. Hundreds more do not have stable housing. At Duffy Health Center, our team seeks to address the full range of needs of those who are experiencing or are at risk of homelessness. We provide individuals with the support to restore their health as a first step in rebuilding their lives. Our services include: Medical Care, Behavioral Health Treatment for Substance Use Disorders, Health Insurance & Benefits, Case Management, Spiritual Care Outreach. Duffy Health Center team members offer those in our care the trust, dignity, respect, and ongoing support that they need to regain hope and recover. We envision Cape Cod as a community where all persons have access to quality health care, safe and stable housing, and lives filled with hope and purpose. At Duffy Health Center, our team seeks to address the full range of needs of those who are experiencing homelessness or are at risk of homelessness, in order to help restore their health as a first step in rebuilding their lives.
