Help us spread the word about all the wonderful, exciting events happening at the Cotuit Center for the Arts! We would like volunteers to support the publicity committee as it builds a strong position of recognition and support throughout each of the communities on the Cape. Activities include distribution of posters, educational brochures and art exhibit flyers to appropriate locations; development and support of exhibits/displays for key events in the area; creation and distribution of key messages through social media; and interfacing with local organizations within each community to increase recognition and support. Work typically is requested on a monthly basis.

With direction from Center staff, the committee provides hospitality for artists, performers, members and guests before, during and after cast parties, gallery exhibit opening receptions, Coffee at Cotuit, meetings and other special events and activities. The group will purchase, prepare and serve refreshments for these events. Other duties include preparing the gallery space, greeting patrons and artists, as well as clean up help. We’d love you to join us!

About us
Founded in 1993 and incorporated as a non-profit charitable organization in 1995, Cotuit Center for the Arts has grown into an award-winning and dynamic arts and cultural hub serving Cape Cod, Southeastern Massachusetts, and beyond. We host more than 35,000 visitors yearly for free and paid programming in our gallery, main theater, black box theater, and classrooms, and we serve local populations of disabled teens and adults and incarcerated youth through our outreach programs. Our offerings include art exhibits, live theater, concerts, classes and workshops, film screenings, and special events. We collaborate with local artists, musicians, actors, performers, teachers, volunteers, and the occasional celebrity to provide a rich experience to our audiences and attendees all year long.
