COVID VACCINATION INFORMATION, FEBRUARY 2, 2021
Congratulations! We have made it through 12 months of the Coronavirus. Thank goodness! We hope we are in the homestretch. With just a few more months of vigilance, including mask wearing, social distancing, staying away from crowds, and getting vaccinated, we should slowly return to normal. Thanks to all of you who have kept yourselves and others safe during this time. Our volunteers continue to provide NF services to those who need them, in ways that are as safe and socially distant as possible. If you need an NF mask, some wipes, or hand sanitizer, let us know. We do have some extras in the office.
Here’s what we know about the vaccine, though understand that this information changes frequently. Phase 2 will begin sometime in February and will aim to vaccinate those individuals with 2+ comorbidities (high risks for COVID-19 complications), individuals age 75+, and residents and staff of public and private low income and affordable senior housing. Information is at Massachusetts COVID-19 Vaccine Information | Mass.gov or Barnstable County Department of Health and Environment (barnstablecountyhealth.org). A new local COVID-19 Help Line has recently opened. That number is: (774) 330-3001.
Neighborhood Falmouth will do everything we can to facilitate getting you to your vaccination.
