Coronavirus (COVID-19) Community Updates
MV Community Services (MVCS) is working with other Island healthcare organizations closely monitoring the spread and impact of COVID-19, specifically adhering to the guidance of the Martha’s Vineyard Hospital.
Given the ever-increasing impact of COVID-19, we have worked hard to determine the best way to continue to serve our clients while keeping both them and our staff as safe and healthy as possible.
WHERE DO I GO FOR HELP?
We ask that anyone seeking services to please call first (508-693-7900) so we can best direct you for services, information or support. Please do not come to any of our facilities unless directed to do so by a clinician.
MV Community Services 24/7 enhanced urgent care and domestic and sexual violence on-call services remain available to the community.
I have a mental health or substance use disorder emergency:
- From 8:00 am – 6:00 pm: call 508-693-7900 x247.
- From 6:00 pm – 8:00 am: call our emergency services 24/7 hotline at 508-693-0032.
I have a domestic or sexual violence emergency:
- Call our 24/7 crisis hotline at 508-696-7233 (SAFE).
I need food or other essential supplies:
- Call 508-693-7900 x410.
I am an existing client at the Island Counseling Center:
- Call your clinician directly regarding new protocols. Telehealth technology and telephone support have been put in place.
I am an existing client at CONNECT to End Violence:
- Reach out to your counselor directly regarding the new protocols for continued service. CONNECT to End Violence: 774-549-9667
I am worried about my substance use and need support:
- Call 508-693-7900 x451. Our Recovery Coaches continue to support individuals with substance use disorders via phone, email and video conferencing.
The MV Family Center is providing virtual programming throughout this crisis. Our staff is also available to provide individualized supports and services. Please contact Kim D’Arcy at 508-687-9182.
Our Chicken Alley Thrift Shop has reopened as of 6/23 and will continue to sell items via their online store: Click here to view online and follow Chicken Alley Thrift Shop on social media: Facebook and Instagram to learn about Curbside pick up. Updated store hours are Tuesday-Saturday 11AM-5PM
The Island Wide Youth Collaborative is closed, but staff members remain available to support clients remotely.

Free COVID-19 testing-
Drive-thru diagnostic testing for COVID-19 is now available for any Islander or visitor who wants a test. Testing is by appointment only. Call 877-336-9855 for an appointment. Everyone must pre-register. Learn more here.
