What We’re Doing
The Cape and Islands United Way is committed to improving lives and building stronger communities on Cape Cod, Martha’s Vineyard and Nantucket. Our network – of donors, volunteers, and citizens who care – works to provide both a safety net for those in need, and to create a collective community vision that drives sustainable change. This work includes encouraging and facilitating volunteerism through Cape Cod Volunteers and supporting MASS-2-1-1, a free and confidential 24/7 information and support line.

This new site is made possible by the Massachusetts Service Alliance and Inspiring Service, who have partnered to launch MSAConnects.org. This state-of-the-art statewide platform connects nonprofit organizations across Massachusetts with the people of the Commonwealth to help meet critical needs in their communities now and into the future. Volunteerism and service are powerful forces for social change. That is why the Massachusetts Service Alliance is dedicated to broadening the capacity of the volunteer and service movement in our Commonwealth, providing individuals and organizations with the funding, training, and support they need to strengthen our communities.
