Our mission

Cape Cod’s Trees for Tomorrow Inc. is dedicated to restoring and protecting Cape Cod’s fragile ecosystems through the planting of native trees and dune grass. In response to the growing threats of deforestation, habitat loss, and climate change, our mission is to rebuild natural landscapes, strengthen biodiversity, and promote environmental justice.

Items we need

🌳 We Need Trees! 🌱

We’re excited to launch our new Restoration Kits — small, mailable kits that include one native tree sapling (under 12 inches) and native dune grass plugs. These kits will be distributed across Cape Cod, with free kits for qualifying households and low-cost versions for others.

To make this possible, we’re reaching out to local nurseries and growers for in-kind donations of native plants. Specifically, we’re seeking:
🌱 ~200 native tree saplings (12 inches or under, bare-root or plug-grown)
🌾 ~200–400 beachgrass plugs

Some of the species we’ve identified as a good fit for Cape Cod’s sandy soils and climate include:

  • Northern Red Oak

  • White Oak

  • Scarlet Oak

  • Eastern Red Cedar

  • Red Maple

  • Flowering Dogwood

  • American Holly

  • American Beachgrass

We’d also love your recommendations based on your expertise and availability.

As a nonprofit, all in-kind donations are tax-deductible, and we’d be glad to provide a donation receipt. We’re also open to purchasing at discounted rates or exploring co-branded partnerships.

If you or your business would like to support this initiative, please reach out — your contribution will help us grow a greener, stronger Cape Cod!

About us

Cape Cod’s Trees for Tomorrow Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, is a youth-led environmental nonprofit dedicated to preserving and enhancing the natural beauty of Cape Cod through tree planting, education, and community engagement. Founded in April 2025, we are committed to fostering environmental stewardship among residents of all ages while addressing the urgent need for climate resilience in our coastal communities. Our work is rooted entirely in the Cape Cod region, where we plan to collaborate with local organizations, schools, and residents to make a lasting environmental impact.

We’re creating Restoration Kits tailored to Cape Cod’s unique ecosystems. Each kit includes native trees, coastal dune plants, and eco-friendly supplies — carefully chosen to address local environmental challenges.

But this is about more than planting trees — it’s about building a movement. We work to plant native species, protect forests, restore coastal dunes, and inspire communities with nature-based climate solutions. Together, we can create a healthier, more resilient Cape Cod rooted in hope, not fear.
